Our recognized know-how, respectful of traditions, and constantly rewarded, as well as the quality of our Terroir, are expressed in authentic wines of great finesse.

Owned by the Lamotte family since 1985, this very old wine estate, operated for a long time by the Gourdon family, was planted mainly with the Chenin grape variety, before the arrival of Phylloxera which at the end of the 19th century destroyed almost all European vineyards. Most of its production was devoted to white wines.

The renovation of the vineyard, made compulsory by the planting of certified grafted plants, was an opportunity to diversify the grape varieties: Gamay, Grolleau, Pineau d’Aunis are appearing, and will be the basis of the rosés (Rosés de Loire (dry), Rosés d’Anjou). More recently, emphasis has been placed on plantations of Cabernet grape varieties.

The oldest cellar built around 1920 was particularly efficient: glass vats, harvest transport system by elevators driven by a huge motor (1 piston).
In 1990, a modern cellar was added to it.
